ESPN Hype Machine Wants To Know: Are the Knicks legitimate championship contenders?

It all looked a bit grim for the new-look Knicks on Sunday, as they were down by double digits in the second quarter. A 16-0 run closed the gap, however, eventually leading to an exciting win against a top team.

The Knicks are a definite offensive powerhouse with the addition of Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups, but they showed a definite defensive edge against the Heat.

Love Cleveland Fans…somehow they are more confident today than they were yesterday.  Brian Shaw and a few sources telling them Cleveland is LeBron’s 1st priority still.  Meanwhile Knicks fans are coming up with doomsday scenarios and/or conspiracy theorizing to make the pain go away.
