Knicks Eats: Man versus “The Melo”

2 Mar

Via SPORTSANDFOOD.com:

All and all, a very weak effort, similar to the Knicks 4th quarter in Orlando last night.  If you or anyone you know has successfully tackled this Carnegie Deli monstrosity (on video or otherwise) let us know.  We tend to think Adam Richman of the Travel Channel’s MVF would take this challenge down in a heartbeat.

Keenan Cahill and the Knicks Rookies: Go NY Go NY Go!

14 Feb

Via NY Mag:

Just as a refresher, here’s a quick rundown of the cast of characters: Landry Fields is the New York second-round pick that has taken the NBA (and the Internet) by storm in his rookie season. Andy Rautins is another Knick rookie, a Syracuse product, and a proud Canadian. Sandwiched between the two is Keenan Cahill, the pint-size performer whose lip-syncing prowess has made him something of an Internet celebrity. In the background, you’ll see the Knicks City Dancers, who are, of course, a team of talented dancing ladies who hail from the city of Knicks, New York.

Stoudemire, Knicks Give Back To NY Community

12 Jan

Via NBA Fanhouse:

“The Courts of Dreams foundation is holding its third annual Family Day event at the team’s practice facility in Tarrytown, N.Y., where children ages 5 to 18 will take part in a hoops clinic with Stoudemire and Knicks point guard Toney Douglas while getting the sort of front-row treatment Spike Lee is accustomed to. As has been the case since agent Marc Cornstein and his wife, Natasha, of Pinnacle Management fused their loves of basketball and philanthropy by creating the foundation in 2008, the money raised will go to the renovation of neighborhood courts in the five boroughs of New York City that are no longer usable.”
